OUR PROGRAMS
TASK FORCES
OUR decompression programs ARE UNIQUELY TAILORED TO RESTORE hopE to THOSE WHO REMAIN FIGHTING IN THE LONGEST CONFLICT IN U.S. HISTORY.
A Task Force (TF) is a weeklong program that helps recipients reconnect with themselves and ultimately their families and communities through structured activities and mentorship. Our Task Forces facilitate decompression, build trust and encourage engagement through high-adrenaline activities, and provide space for thoughtful discussions. Recipients leave the Task Forces with lifelong bonds, restored hope, and renewed feelings of connection to themselves and others.
Our Task Forces fall into two seasons each year—Summer and Winter. Each season provides various activities in Montana’s restorative surroundings. Each TF is led by a volunteer who earns the role of Task Force Director, and is paired with the needed number of volunteers. Understanding that sacrifice extends beyond the battlefield, we’ve expanded our mission to serve SOF spouses and families, along with a lifelong alumni program offering continued support.
Our Task Forces were created for the 3% of our military who shoulder the heaviest burden — the Special Operations Forces constantly deployed to the front lines of our nation’s defense. These programs are built to help them decompress, reconnect, and experience the very freedoms they fight to protect.
Our Spouse Programs honor the often unseen sacrifice of those who hold the line at home. Through meaningful connection, rest, and reflection, we help them feel seen, supported, and return home recharged—reminded that their role matters just as much as the one on the battlefield.
Our Family Programs were built to strengthen the foundation behind every SOF warrior—their family. We create space for reconnection, healing, and quality time, reminding these families that their sacrifice is seen, their bond is sacred, and they’re never in this alone.
Our Alumni Programs offer returning SOF warfighters airfare, lodging, and activities (as available), ensuring Montana remains a place they can come home to—deepening trust, sustaining connection, and reminding them they’re never alone in the fight.
Montana’s wide-open skies provide the backdrop; our mission provides the impact.
We host our programs in Montana because its vast, rugged beauty offers peace, solitude, and awe that can’t be replicated. Surrounded by towering mountains and open skies, it’s a place where our nation’s most elite warriors can finally exhale—where the weight they carry feels a little lighter, and the healing begins. Montana isn’t just a backdrop. It’s part of the experience and helps us give these brave individuals the space they’ve more than earned.
