Task Forces (TF)
OUR PROGRAMS (TASK FORCES) ARE UNIQUELY TAILORED TO RESTORE THOSE WHO REMAIN FIGHTING IN THE LONGEST CONFLICT IN U.S. HISTORY.
A Task Force (TF) is one of our weeklong programs that helps recipients reconnect with themselves and ultimately their families and communities through structured activities and mentorship. The purpose of these programs is to give these elite warfighters (and their spouses) an opportunity to step outside of their profession for a week and be humans rather than uniforms. Our Task Forces facilitate decompression, build trust and encourage engagement through high-adrenaline activities, and provide space for thoughtful discussions. Recipients leave the Task Forces with lifelong bonds, restored hope, and renewed feelings of connection to themselves and others.
Our Task Forces fall into two seasons each year - Summer and Winter. Each season provides various activities in Montana’s restorative surroundings. Task Forces are offered to active duty males and females, as well as spouses of past recipients. Each TF is led by a volunteer who earns the role of Task Force Director, and is paired with the needed number of volunteers.
