At the heart of Big Sky Bravery is a core value inspired by the SOF community: “Give more than you take.” This principle fuels Crystal’s relentless pursuit of support for this mission—one that stands in unwavering service to our nation’s most elite warriors.

Big Sky Bravery is entrusted with the responsibility of supporting the SOF community, and those who generously invest in this mission entrust us to execute on their behalf. Crystal is committed to fostering authentic relationships built on trust and integrity with supporters; ensuring they understand the deep impact of their investment in this mission.

Since joining Big Sky Bravery in 2023, Crystal has earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) Certification, the only accredited credential for fundraising professionals, recognized globally for upholding the highest ethical and professional standards.

Her path to this role is rooted in service and advocacy. Prior to joining Big Sky Bravery, she spent two years in nonprofit development, three years as a trained Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) volunteer, six years in civil engineering, and 11 years as a Nationally Certified Sign Language Interpreter.

From humble roots in North Dakota, to calling the Gallatin Valley home since 2009, Crystal is grateful to be raising her family in a place that embodies the wild beauty and freedom she holds dear. The mountains have long been her refuge—a place of restoration, reflection, and cherished moments with her family.

“Serving the selfless men, women, spouses, and children of the sof community is the honor of a lifetime. Their sacrifices for our freedom and safety are immeasurable, and we owe them more gratitude—we owe them unwavering support, both in the fight and long after.”
