Task Force 95 | Crazy Mountain Ranch, Montana
Trusted Supporters,
We were honored to be afforded the opportunity to be hosted at the Crazy Mountain Ranch on TF95. This setting allowed us to disconnect from all cell and wifi services for the week and let nature do the work. We hiked up to Rock Lake at 8,800ft with ice still floating in the lake. This setting allowed for campsite fire chats while watching goats from 500-800 meters away graze. For the hunting enthusiast in the group, this was a huge spectacle! The backdrop of the sheer vertical shale rock formations to the high ground all around us was perfect for the conversation. One thing we see over and over again is that guys seem to let down their guard even more while out in nature, really letting the damage or hurts come up sooner than normal.
The remainder of the week we thoroughly enjoyed food prepared by our own in-home chefs between a volunteer and one recipient, both being professionally trained! Fishing on Rock Creek next to the house and on the Yellowstone River were both outstanding, building memories for everyone involved.
One reoccurring statement the whole week was, “Wow!” Each recipient could not believe the scenery they were seeing at every turn of the trip, matched by the generosity of this experience given by folks they did not know. Each one was honored but also reluctant to be a receiver of such love from you all.
I am continually impressed by the people we have supporting these warfighters! The dedication you have for each of them is only comparable to the dedication they have for each other and their commitment to serving our nation.
Thank you all for everything you do, have done, and continue to do for each of them!
With the utmost respect,
Jeremy Keller

“The months leading up to my trip to Montana for the BSB task force were some of the most difficult months that I can remember. I was feeling worn down from work and dealing with a failing relationship. Needless to say, I needed to find a place where I could get away to clear my head and recharge my mind, body, and soul. Being a lover of mountains and the outdoors, I was lucky enough to get a slot on a BSB task force that included a stay in an isolated cabin in the middle of the mountains with nothing around but nature.
The days spent on the BSB task force were nothing short of amazing and refreshing! The memories made with the other task force recipients, as well as the task force volunteers, will stay will me for the rest of my life. I was able to finally able to clear my head, relax, and reflect on my life and current relationship situation. Additionally, the daily question made me think more deeply than I ever have about my internal emotions, who I am as a man, and what I want out of my life. At the end of the task force, I walked away feeling refreshed, like a giant weight had been lifted off of my shoulders! I am and will be forever grateful for the opportunity to participate in a BSB task force. Lastly, I will forever owe a huge debt of gratitude to the BSB donors who made this trip possible. Your donations are affecting people’s lives in the best ways possible. Thank you!

“Years of training and deployment had built up more than I ever could have recognized on my own. The opportunity to be welcomed onto a Task Force, and participate side by side with peers and volunteers in such a beautiful setting while being appreciated and heard provided me the mental strength to work toward rejuvenating and healing after years of neglect.
Thank you to the Big Sky Bravery family, its donors, and volunteers, you have reminded us that people care. You have improved my (and my family’s) life.

“First and foremost, I would like to thank Big Sky Bravery for the incredible work they are doing for Veterans and Active Duty Service members. The program they have built allows Special Operators a chance to mentally, and physically reset - something that can be very difficult to accomplish given the nature of these jobs. I had the opportunity to attend a course led by Jeremy Keller. The program and staff far exceeded my expectations, and I concluded the trip with a more focused mindset after the time spent in the backcountry, coupled with guided discussions throughout the course. I truly cannot express the importance of Big Sky Bravery's mission. Their program provides Special Operators time for relaxation, team building, and most importantly, self-reflection. The leadership team and volunteers are hand selected and are the sole reason why Big Sky Bravery is the best in their field.
Secondly, this organization would not be possible without the generosity of the many donors who have given to BSB. They have selflessly given their time and money to Special Operators, and it has not gone unnoticed. From the bottom of my heart, thank you! The work that is being done on your behalf is more important than you might know. I speak for the individuals who have attended Big Sky Bravery, and for those who have not, please continue the generosity and spread the word about what is being done at these courses. It has helped countless military members and will continue to do so. God Bless.

“First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude to the incredible donors who have made this extraordinary week of decompression a reality. Your generosity has opened the doors to a world of unforgettable experiences.
Next, I extend my deepest thanks to the exceptional BSB staff and volunteers who have played the role of remarkable hosts, wise guides, and invaluable mentors. Your dedication and enthusiasm have elevated this entire journey to new heights.
Montana, with its awe-inspiring adventures, has exceeded all expectations. Yet, the profound, personal, and candid conversations have truly revitalized my passion for forging connections with others while learning new skills in the wilderness of Montana.
In my 20-year career, this program stands out as a milestone, offering me the rare opportunity to truly disconnect from the world for a few days. Instead, I've been able to focus on self-reflection, fostering connections with my fellow participants, and nurturing newfound friendships through meaningful discussions, thrilling escapades, and mindful relaxation.
This week has been an absolute revelation, reminding me of the beauty of nature and the importance of genuine human interaction. I am immensely grateful for this transformative experience and will carry its impact for years.
Yours truly,
-L.”
