Aaron is an executive leader with over 20 years of experience leading high performance teams in the Fortune 100, Channel, Public Sector and Military. He is the CEO of Montana Tactical, a Veteran owned company dedicated to upholding American Values and supporting those who protect and serve America. He is also an Executive at VMware, a global leader in Data Center and Virtualization technologies. Prior to VMWare, Aaron held various executive leadership roles at Cisco Systems, leading a ~ $1B Commercial Sales and Engineering practice, again focused on business transformation with technology. Aaron also held a City government CIO role for 7 years, driving strategic influence within one of the top 25 fastest growing cities in the United States.
Aaron is also a Veteran, serving as a United States Army Infantry officer for 12 years, Aaron held roles in both Active and Reserve duty, fighting the global war against terror.
As a Veteran, Aaron is deeply committed to giving back to the Military community. He has been working closely with Big Sky Bravery since the inception of the organization, helping drive the mission and values in support of our nations finest warriors. When an opportunity to join Big Sky Bravery as a Board member presented itself, Aaron accepted the opportunity and considers it an honor and privilege. He is dedicated to helping the quiet warriors that don’t ask for thanks or help.
