FAMILY TASK FORCE 10 | BIG SKY, MONTANA

“There isn't a way to put into words how much BSB has done not only for me and my mental health but for my family and our relationship.

I was given the opportunity to be part of the first female active-duty Task Force, and that time will forever be one of the most impactful moments of my military career. It was during a difficult season when I had to make some hard decisions. That female Task Force gave me the time, space and relationships that helped calm my mind and gave me clarity. 

The timing was perfect, as was the timing for this Family Task Force. We had the time to stop and connect as a family instead of just going through the daily motions and chores of family/work life. The constant feeling that one of us was zigging and the other zagging and just couldn't align was taking its toll. We were finally able to slow down and just be together.

We were able to have family conversations and experiences that we would not have had back home.

I was able to see a side of my son that I hadn't seen before - fearless and capable of so much. The smiles and laughter from this trip will stay with us forever. We were given a gift that is not tangible and easily given, but so impactful: Connection. 

We want to say thank you to BSB and everyone that makes these experiences and memories happen.
